Human-competitive Results Obtained by Genetic Programming

چکیده

Genetic Programming (GP) is an evolutionary paradigm for automatically finding solutions, often in the form of computer programs, for a problem. Since its introduction in early 1990s, GP has been used to solve problems in a wide range of fields, and produced a large numbers of humancompetitive results. A result is human-competitive if it is equal or better than previous best results obtained by human experts. This paper aims to introduce some human-competitive results produced by GP recently. The first section briefly describes Genetic Programming. The human-competitive results are presented after that.
